Ford is planning to officially unveil the new 2013 Ford Escape on November 16, but there is one very important feature we just can't wait to share with you. The 2013 Ford Escape will gain the industry's first-ever, hands-free liftgate operated by motion sensing technology.

Like gesture-reading video games, the SUV will automatically open with a simple kicking motion under the rear bumper. To close the liftgate, simply swing your leg under the bumper again.
