Ford has demonstrated its commitment to the environment by debuting fuel-efficient models like the C-Max Hybrid, but now the American automaker is taking its green mindset to the next level by promising to reduce vehicle waste by 40 percent per vehicle by 2016 as a part of its new five-year global waste reduction strategy.

This past winter, we definitely appreciated the AWD technology found in many new Ford vehicles, and we aren't the only ones who think these vehicles are a must-have.  Since 2009, the American brand's AWD sales have grown 72 percent, which is quite a bit more than the industry wide growth rate of 53 percent.
