Lindsay Ford Service Technician

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosing automotive problems quickly and accurately
  • Repairing broken or worn auto components
  • Installing equipment, components, and systems
  • Testing vehicles before and after repair
  • Maintain manufacturer training
  • Provide superior customer service

Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Automotive Service Technician
  • Thorough knowledge of automobiles including electrical systems, engine repair, brake systems, suspension and steering, and heating and air-conditioning
  • ASE certification
  • Outstanding work ethic

Lindsay Ford Service Advisor

Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner
  • Obtain vehicle information and accurately record vehicle problems on repair order
  • Take service calls from customers to schedule appointments
  • Foster positive customer relations with a friendly attitude
  • Communicate repair details, estimates, and charges to customers
  • Inform customers of their maintenance and repair needs which are identified during the service appointment process based on service history and vehicle inspection
  • Communicate repair status to customers
  • Act as a liaison between external customers and all those involved internally at the dealership in the service appointment process
  • Review results of customer satisfaction surveys with Service Managers

Desired Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience as Service Advisor at an automotive dealership
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Positive work ethic
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems
  • Basic understanding of computer keyboard operations
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to multi-task
  • High school diploma or equivalent
